2027 Subaru Forester Adds a Wilderness Hybrid While Holding Key Prices

Subaru has announced the 2027 Forester lineup, including its first Wilderness Hybrid. The gas-powered Forester starts at $29,995 MSRP and the Forester Premium Hybrid at $34,730 MSRP, unchanged from the outgoing model year. The new Wilderness Hybrid starts at $40,495 MSRP. Those figures exclude destination, taxes, and other charges; actual dealer pricing and availability can vary.

The Wilderness Hybrid pairs Subaru’s hybrid powertrain with the trail-focused features that distinguish the Wilderness: 9.3 inches of ground clearance, all-terrain tires, enhanced underbody protection, and standard all-wheel drive. The regular Forester Wilderness remains in the lineup as well.
